Perfect small apartment freezer!

One warning; as was said by one other reviewer here, you must check with the Avanti web-site, or simply call them to find out if the Amazon reseller is an authorized dealer. I did that and found it could be shipped to my local dealer for the same price as listed here. And it has full dealer support if anything goes wrong.
So far I am pleased as punch with this little freezer. It is the perfect size for a bachelor in a small apartment kitchen! This thing fit right where I had some wasted space; and is so quiet I hardly ever notice it. The energy star rating means I will be paying less per year that my old refrigerator, and frees up space in it too. Now I can take advantage of the sales at the store and stock up for big savings. I looked all over the internet, and this is the best sized freezer there is!! similar sized freezers were too wide - Avanti wisely put the storage area in depth instead of width, to result in a perfect configuration for my needs. It stands even with my refrigerator, so they have the same dimensions toward the back wall.
I was afraid having no auto-defroster was going to be a pain, but I've had it nearly a year, and it still hasn't frosted up on me. The loading door helps you pick it up, which is good for me, as I am disabled. I use it as a counter top in between raids on the storage. You just can't beat the efficiency of having a door that opens upward and doesn't let all the cool temperature boil out on the floor. This way it all stays in the deep freeze, and hardly affects the temperature just because the door was opened and things removed.
I won't be surprised if the thing runs for 50 years like a lot of the good freezer brands I've used in the past. If anything goes wrong with this appliance I will be posting it here; I don't work for any single person or company, and am not a paid reviewer. |
Avanit will not honor warranty claims !

| My CF62 freezer which I ordered from Amazon arrived with a damaged part which holds it's compressor. The freezer is packaged in a manner in which it is almost impossible to repackage for return. I contacted the manufacturer for a replacement part 1/2 of a year ago. Despite Avanti's promises to furnish this part, I have received only excuses. Beware of purchasing Avanti Products !!! |
